Louisiana Bistreaux brings to Atlanta some of the most authentic New Orleans-style Cajun cuisine that will actually make you question whether you are in the French Quarter. The growing popularity at their two locations in Decatur and East Point by the airport has led to its expansion to Buckhead. The new location opened on September 20 and will satisfy all your salty, spicy, and saucy seafood cravings in the most “NOLA” way possible.
You can expect to devour some seriously smothered unique concoctions like the Crawtator Grouper crusted with Zapp's crawtator chips in a Cajun crawfish cream sauce, served with sautéed spinach and jalapeno gouda grits or fried lobster served with dill beurre blanc, lemon jalapeno coleslaw and brabant potatoes.
For the meat lovers, the Angus Ribeye Orleans topped with crawfish, lump crabmeat and butter sauce or the Sriracha chicken fingers with spicy Sriracha basil chili sauce are a must. Clearly, there’s no need to wait for Mardi Gras to celebrate this amazing cuisine you’d typically only find in the famous Louisiana city.
The Creole crawfish wonderland also has mouth-watering vegetarian options like the deep-friend Eggplant Pontchartrain filled with assorted vegetables sautéed with Pontchartrain sauce and steamed rice.
As always, make sure you save room for dessert because the “24k” carrot cake and the bourbon bread pudding will knock your socks off. And of course, you have to wash it all down with some super bright and fruity tropical rum cocktails.
