Love sushi and surprises? Then you have to try this new pop-up-esque sushi bar in Midtown for a quick and mouth-watering meal. This new Omakase-style sushi joint in Atlanta will serve a $30 5-course surprise sushi sampler. These samplings are a must-try this summer because, let's be honest, nobody wants sushi FOMO. Sukoshi is a tiny 2,000-square-foot sushi bar which will be located on Peachtree Street at Colony Square in Midtown.

Sukoshi is expected to open at the end of summer 2019, but specific dates have yet to be released. The chef will surprise you with a five-course meal of select sushi in under 30 minutes, for only $30. Some unique rolls offered include a Salmon Citrus Roll and a Fugo Lobster Roll.

Its creation is based on the concept of offering a quick meal for business people and busy-bees alike. Suited for on-the-go millenials, Sukoshi has grab-and-go sushi that you can easily eat in the car, at work or basically wherever you are. To make things even quicker, you can order ahead on their iOS app.

In its 2,000-square-foot building, there are communal tables and banquets that seat up to 30 people. The more the merrier! There is also a five-seat bar for Omakase sampling. Into sampling? You should also check out this bar crawl in Atlanta with tons of different tacos and margs.

Sukoshi is based out of Charlotte, NC and this new location will be the first of its kind in Atlanta. Although the sushi joint is considered fast-casual, that does not compromise the quality or nutritional value of the ingredients. This long-term pop-up is inspired by sister restaurant, O-Ku, which is also in Atlanta. Sukoshi will feature several menu items from O-Ku, including the Black Magic Roll with lobster and squid ink rice.

The bites don't stop at sushi. You can also make a meal or snack out of other menu items including bao, poke bowls, salads, edamame and dumplings. You can get all that and dim sum (pun intended). Sukoshi will offer beer from local breweries, sake, wine and exclusive japanese sodas.

Although Sukoshi is somewhat based on a grab-and-go mentality, it is definitely suitable for a sit-down meal with friends during lunch hour or on the weekend. The modern and inviting ambience will not disappoint.
