You Can Get Your Hands On This Sweet Yet Cheesy Krispy Kreme Burger In Atlanta
An epic collab of two American classics.
Atlanta may not have gained its foodie reputation with healthy foods, but it is definitely known for its greasy goodness. So when you feel you've earned a day to treat yourself, you have to try this doughnut hamburger at Cypress Street Pint & Plate in Atlanta.
Cypress Street Pint & Plate, established at the heart of Midtown Atlanta in 2007, is a trendy neighborhood favorite with a modern and sophisticated twist on bar food. The pub offers a spacious, industrial feel with a large space for both indoor and outdoor dining and drinking. The familiar Midtown spot has earned much of its popularity via the "Krispy Kreme Burger."
The Krispy Kreme Burger includes an 8-ounce ground beef patty, cheddar cheese, bacon and caramelized onions topped with house pickles and barbecue sauce all sandwiched between 2 grilled Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Mesmerizing, we know.
Previously, Cypress Street has teamed up with Sublime Doughnuts to create the Sublime Burger. If you aren't familiar with the, you'll be pleasantly suprised to see what combos they've created.
Aside from the deliciously greasy doughnut-burger collab, Cypress Street offers tons of neighborhood favorites like mango barbecue salmon, fish & chips, and basil pesto chicken pasta. The sweet potato nachos are also a must.
They are open until 2:45 a.m. Monday through Saturday and until midnight on Sunday. You can truly satisfy your late-night munchies with amazingness like Sweetwater-fried mushrooms and pizza eggrolls on the late night menu (served until 2 a.m.).
Cypress Street has something going on every day of the week including: half-price apps every weekday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; $2 tacos on Mondays; trivia on Wednesdays; and half-off wine Thursday nights. You can also attend their 12th Annual Pig Roast on Aug. 24.
Come on in sooner than later to enjoy the famous doughnut burger and pair it with one of 17 beers on tap or a drink from the full bar of wine and spirits.
They also have brunch on Saturdays and Sundays so get the crew (you can bring your dog too!) for some chicken & waffles and mimosas. If you are a booze and brunch fanatic, you and your friends should book this.
