Here in Georgia, we love our food and we love our beer, especially when it's local and creative. Pairing the right food with the right beer can often be a challenge but when you get it just right, there's nothing quite like it. A massive sandwich loaded up with flavorful and creative toppings coupled with an exclusive craft beer hits the spot like no other. This new Georgia beer garden near Atlanta with over 2,000 drink options will be opening a new location in Pinewood Forest, along with a sister restaurant, so you'll have no trouble finding your perfect mix of unique food and even better beer.
Pinewood Forest is a blooming 235-acre residential and mixed-use development south of Atlanta. The development is neighbors with Pinewood Atlanta Studios, one of the Southeast's largest and most reputable film studios.
Hop City Craft Beer & Wine will be opening a new location in Pinewood Forest later this year. The popular drinking hole already has a location in Birmingham, Alabama and three Atlanta locations in West Midtown, West End and Krog Street Market.
Hop City is the second of 12 restaurants to open in the Pinewood Forest community, upholding the area's standard for independent and local businesses. They are home to the East Coast’s largest selection of beer, with over 1,900 unique ale and lager opportunities every day and over 1,000 unique wines.
You'll find unbelievable booze including Dry County Neon Totem Painkiller with pineapple, coconut, and orange zest and Bluejacket Perfect Places, a New England IPA with mango and black pepper. They also have growlers to take home so you can sip your beer while you shop throughout the Pinewood Forest development.
Having been recognized for its unmatched beer selection by Atlanta Magazine and The Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Hop City's growth since it's establishment in 2009 is no surprise. Its success lead to the creation of sister bar and restaurant, Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Beer at The Avalon Alpharetta in 2016.
If you can't decide between one of their imaginative burger creations or a loaded hotdog, you can get The Brat Burger (bratwurst in burger form). They also serve breakfast all day, because there's never a time when breakfast doesn't sound delish. With beer always in mind, you can choose from over 85 rotating local, national and international beers on tap here.
