Let's be honest, millennials we get bored easily. We are constantly craving something new and we get tired of the same old stuff over and over again, especially when it comes to food. Well, this Atlanta food and beer spot outside Atlanta has definitely caught on to our millennial ways, because the Georgia eatery features different food trucks and craft beer daily.
Truck & Tap has three locations in Woodstock, Alpharetta and now Duluth, which opened in September 2018. They have different food trucks onsite everyday and offer a selection of craft beer that also changes daily. In other words, they'll never run out of the new experiences you crave. The owner of Truck & Tap is a UGA grad whose love for beer began when he attended the party school (Go Dawgs!).
Truck & Tap's mission is to provide a fun and laidback casual environment that makes it easy to kickback with your buds and enjoy brand new selections of street food and craft beer any day of the week. You can view the weekly lineup of food trucks and beer on the site's full truck schedule or on their Instagram.
Food trucks like Poke Burri (serving sushi corn dogs and sushi donuts), Blaxican and Shake Shack are in rotation. you can expect to see unique and ethnically-diverse menu items like a blackened salmon sandwich, Bánh Mì, jerk chicken tacos, fried shrimp & grits, greek sliders and lamb fries. You can check out the menus for most of the featured food trucks here.
Truck & Tap also offers a wide variety of beer including local brews and several around the U.S. You can expect to sip on eclectic beers like Pontoon's Glazed Tropical Creamsicle Sour crafted with tangerine, mango, peach and vanilla; and Allagash Tripel made with a suggestion of banana and honey. You can also check out their full beer stash here. If you're a fan of local beer, check out this list of beers exclusive to Georgia.
The eatery (and drinkery) is set up sort of like a brewery, with a casual and rustic ambience, indoor/outdoor seating, string lights, cornhole, live music, trivia games and more.
They also host fun events like "Singo", where the DJ plays a clip of a song and you mark it on your bingo card.
With three locations (Alpharetta has two-stories with a deck), there's no excuse not to make Truck & Tap one of your regular spots to chill with friends and fulfill your millennial need for all things new.
