For the first time ever, a world-famous Home Alone-themed pop-up bar is hitting New Orleans. The Miracle Christmas Pop-up bar in NOLA is like a Christmas explosion in your favorite bar. Think 60s and 70s vintage Christmas gear, but more plaid wrapping paper than floor space, and with laser lights that will fulfill your 80s photo dreams.

You can get in the retro holiday spirit in the Lower Garden District at Barrel Proof from November 25th through the end of December.

Miracle Pop-Up doesn't stop there though, check out Long way Tavern Downtown for a boozy Santa's Workshop Pop-Up. Complete with naughty elves, life-size dancing Santas, and a dedicated Instagram spot in the courtyard.

Miracle Pop-Up began in New York in 2014, when owner Greg Boehm halted construction of his new cocktail bar, Mace, to transform the unfinished space into an extravagant Christmas pop-up.

As his pop-up became the most popular spot in town, industry friends asked to expand the concept to their own bars.

There are now pop-ups in 38 states and all corners of the world, including Canada, Europe, Asia, and Central America. So how do you get in? Just show up!

Both locations in NOLA will have the Miracle Pop-Up staples of Santa mugs, holiday-inspired cocktails and the most outrageous Christmas decor around.

At Barrel Proof, keep an eye out for the naughty list (that you can add your name to) and the best Home Alone quote there is, "Keep the change ya filthy animal!" Cheers to some great Insta pics.

No reservations are required. Miracle at Barrel Proof is open 4 p.m. to close, daily, and Miracle at Longway Tavern is open 4 p.m. to close Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to close Friday through Sunday.

If bars are not your thing, check out this Christmas carnival to get into the spirit. For booze though don't miss out on the Santa raid next month.
