When you step out of the elevator on the 71st floor, you'll run into High Bar first. It's a pretty intimate space with a menu that focuses on craft cocktails and high-end whiskeys from around the world.
The decor is modern and sleek, with a comfortable atmosphere. The chairs and booths are a deep navy, surrounded by wooden cabinets containing some very enticing alcohols.
The 360 views of Detroit are an unbelievable bonus of their own; you can even see Windsor twinkling across the river.
To the left of High Bar is Hearth 71 — which has a more rustic vibe.
The website states that they're "a celebration of open-fire cooking, craft beer, and rock ‘n’ roll." This is the eatery for someone looking to be cozy while having a more relaxed meal with a breathtaking view of the entire city.
Hearth 71 does not take reservations which adds to their cozy, casual atmosphere.
Just beyond High Bar lies the real culinary star of the show, Highlands Steakhouse. Options like wagyu beef tartare and oysters are probably exactly what you'd imagine you'd eat with a view this luxurious.
