As Texans, we've been exposed to delicious, Mexican cuisine for some time now. At least once in our lives, we've all wanted the opportunity to enjoy an entire Texas city's best Mexican dishes from various restaurants in the same place. Thanks to Austin's Mexican food fest later this spring, there finally is!
Mexic-Arte Museum is hosting its Taste of Mexico 2020 event on Wednesday, May 6 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
VIP will be able to enter the event early at 5:30 p.m. whereas GA will be able to enter at 6 p.m., though both groups are able to stay until 9 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets are on sale now meaning tickets are cheaper than they'll ever be, do your wallets a favor and get yours early!
GA tickets are $55 and VIP tickets are $70 right now, but tickets will eventually climb to $65 and $85. Members of the museum will get their tickets for $55, so it might be time to sign yourselves up!
So far, the vendors who will be at the event include Taqueria Tala, Maudie’s Tex-Mex, El Dorado Cafe, Curra’s Grill, Cruzteca Mexican Kitchen, Licha’s Cantina, Dulce Vida Tequila, and Soley Beverage.
They're still taking vendor applications, so who knows who else will be added to the list!
Arguably the best part about attending the event is that proceeds go to a great cause.
The money you spend on your tickets will benefit the Mexic-Arte Museum’s art education programs.
Hurry and get your tickets today.
