Austin is home to so many hot spots that the entire city has undeniably become a hot spot itself. This year, Austin is opening a new public market that's unlike anything the city has ever seen before, likely drawing an even bigger crowd to the Capital city. It may only be February but this news makes 2020 the greatest year yet.

St. Elmo Public Market is going to be Austin's first true artisan food retail marketplace.

The marketplace is set to open to the public sometime this year and it's bringing with it tons of delicious restaurants and incredible shops.

As of right now, very few tenants have been announced. The tenants that have been revealed, however, are enough to get us even more excited than we already were.

Greater Goods Coffee Co. and Fire Dance Pizza have recently been confirmed to be two of the many restaurants and food shops that'll be available to enjoy at the upcoming St. Elmo Public Market.

One coffee option and one pizza option is already plenty, but seeing as how the market is going to be 40,000 sq. ft., we're expecting a few more. The more variety the better!

There's expected to be about 25 merchants in the market once it's complete, according to Brandon Bolin, developer of St. Elmo Public Market.

We, along with many Austinites, are excited to learn who the rest of the merchants and vendors will be.

It's clear that the public market will be a come-one-come-all kind of spot. Locals and visitors from all over will be welcomed to stop by and shop, eat, drink, and relax.

Start telling your friends because you'll definitely want to say you were some of the first visitors to experience it all.

There's nothing quite like it in all of Austin. The construction progress is already underway, and the spot is on it's way to becoming the great market it is predicted to be.
