Pies are one of the most underrated desserts out there and are typically reserved for holidays, which might be what led them to become so underrated. If you haven't yet tried Tiny Pies, a pie-loving bakery in Austin, you absolutely need to. All you'll have to do is take one bite into your choice of pie to be convinced that the baked good is perfect for everyday occasions.
As of right now, Tiny Pies has only two locations in Austin. According to Eater Austin, though, ATX will be getting one more location this May.
With three locations starting in May, there should soon be no excuse as to why you haven't tried one of their delicious pies yet.
They have classic, year-round staples as well as seasonal favorites for you to choose from. As of March 1, Meyer Lemon Meringue, Raspberry Lemon, Texas Strawberry, Vegan Texas Strawberry, and Banana Cream were added.
The pie of the month is Texas Strawberry, which, are we surprised? As you can tell from the list above, there's a vegan option so that no one misses out on this legendary pie.
Their year-round staples include both sweet and savory flavors that you have to check out.
Their year-round sweet flavors include Apple, Cherry, Sweet Texas Pecan, Key Lime, and more. Texas Pete, Spinach and Ricotta Empanada, and Farmers Market Pot Pie are for those who don't have a strong sweet tooth.
Nothing wrong with that! Savory pies are just as good as sweet ones if you ask us.
The currently open Tiny Pies locations have varying hours, with the Burnet location staying closed on Sundays and the Lamar location staying closed on Mondays.
We can't wait for the third location to be open and to have yet another Tiny Pies to satisfy our baked goods cravings.
Address: 5035 Burnet Rd., Austin, TX or 2032 S Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX
Why You Need To Go: They have pies for every occasion and in every flavor, and they're too cute to boot!
