Texans can't get enough of the delicious food their state is known for. Chili has always been a Texas thing and slowly but surely, seafood is becoming one as well! So it makes sense that there would be a festival combining the two, right? Next month, you can eat all the chili and lobster at a fest in Fredericksburg that you can handle.
From Friday, February 28, to Saturday, February 29, the Fredericksburg Chili and Lobster Festival is taking place beginning at 4 p.m. the first day and going until 10 p.m. the next day.
The food fest will have a chili cookoff as well as delicious lobsters flown in from Maine.
Texas' best chili competitors will be participating in the cookoff, and it's up to you to decide who's the best of the best.
The lobsters from Maine will be transformed into lobster mac and cheese, lobster rolls, prepared lobster tails, and more.
Clearly there's a lot of eating to do on both days!
As of right now, tickets for GA on Friday are just $5, and for Saturday they're $10.
According to their official Facebook event page, a price increase will be implemented as of tomorrow, so get your tickets today if you can!
Each respective GA ticket includes access to the fest from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
If you decide to upgrade to VIP on either day, deliciously free food will be included with your ticket.
Plus, free drinks from a private bar!
VIP tickets start at $20 and go as high as $35.
Whenever you're craving one of the two, Texas has you covered.
February will be here before we know it, so plan your cheat day accordingly!
