Texas is filled with gorgeous flowers and greenery, and what better way to see it all than visiting a winery? The state has some of the most gorgeous vineyards in the country and even better, the wine is the stuff of dreams. Just in time for summer, the July Harvest Wine Trail is taking place next month, and it's well worth the trip!
If one of your weekend days in July isn't free, that's fine, there are two whole weekends to take advantage of this awesome opportunity. Both weekends starting Saturday the 6th and ending Sunday, July 14th from 12 PM to 5 PM you can visit several gorgeous Texan wineries. It begins in College Station, Texas and takes you all over the city. Yum!
Tickets are $35 per person and get you an adorable Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail glass once you arrive at your first winery. While you're visiting the different wineries, you'll get one delicious food dish with two wine pairings at each stop! Your knowledge of wine and food pairing will be better than any of your friends - that's some major bragging rights right there.
The wineries include Bernhardt Winery, Peach Creek Vineyards, Messina Hof Winery, and more. Take a break from the Texas heat and cool off with some delicious wine and awesome company. Two whole weekends of plans for the price of one, you can't beat that. Some people think you have to travel all the way to Italy to visit a good winery, but those people haven't seen the ones we've got in Texas.
