A Giant Mexican Food Fest Is Coming To Downtown Austin This Week
The Taste of Mexico event will have over 30 Mexican restaurants!
Is it even possible to be a Texan without loving Tex-Mex food? Now you can enjoy the flavors of over 30 different Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants all at one event this week on May 1st. The Taste of Mexico fest at the Mexic-Arte Museum in downtown Austin will be a delicious food frenzy to remember.
All fans of Tex-Mex and Mexican food can now rejoice with over 30 local favorite food vendors and restaurants all gathering at one spot to serve up their best Mexican inspired eats, drinks, and treats all night long. You can get your hands on countless different types of tacos, margaritas, pan, elote, paletas, tequilas, and more at this insanely tasty event. Come hungry because there will be so much food for you to try, you'll need as much stomach space as you can get!
The Taste of Mexico event will have top favorite Austin restaurants serving food and drinks, such as ATX Cocina, Cool Beans, La Mexicana Bakery, El Nuevo Mexico Restaurant, Tamale Addiction, Eldorado Cafe ATX, and many many more. Get ready for the best Mexican food night of your life.
There will also be tons of vendors serving up the best desserts to top off your night of Mexican food eating. Restaurants such as Mom & Pops All Natural Frozen Pops and Las Mangonadas Ice Cream Parlor will be serving up popsicles, ice cream, cupcakes, conchas, and more. Also be sure not to miss out on the countless tequilas, margaritas, and frozen drinks that will be served out to those who are 21 and over. Tamales plus margaritas plus conchas will make the best Mexican dinner ever!
Profits from the Taste of Mexico event will benefit the Mexic-Arte Museum’s art education programs in Austin. Tickets for unlimited tastings of over 30 different Mexican inspired foods go for $55 for Museum Members, $65 for General Admission, and $80 for VIP Access which includes early entry, raffle tickets, and more.
