It is now 2020 and countless fans are still watching reruns and going on Netflix binges of The Office. The NBC show is an ultimate classic, with hilarious characters, wacky plotlines, and an incredible 9 season-long story. The show is loved by so many people, which made local Texan fans want to open an actual The Office themed pop-up bar in Dallas.
The Whippersnapper, an iconic bar in Dallas, has done it again! The bar is known for its seasonal transformations and themed pop-up bars.
The bar is currently in the process of revamping its space to become their very own "Dunder Whiplin Inc. Beverage Company", a play on Dunder Mifflin Inc. Paper Company from the show.
The new space will feature The Office-inspired photo ops,
creative themed menus, endless fan-loving entertainment, and much more.
Stopping by in costume is more than encouraged, so dust off that dark brown suit and mustard collard shirt and pop on some clear glasses!
The finished bar will launch on Thursday, January 9. The bar will open for media only from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. but then will be open to everyone else from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Their hours will continue on from Wednesdays to Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. until Saturday, February 15, when the spot will, unfortunately, close down to resume as the Whippersnapper once more.
This isn't the first time the bar has transformed into a TV show set. It became a perfect replica of Moe's from The Simpsons just this past Fall.
You do not want to miss out on all of The Office-themed fun, so make sure you stop on by to pull some pranks on Dwight, do some parkour, practice your fire safety skills, and finally ask out that cute receptionist you work with.
