Fort Worth has tons of great treats, but we love it when new shops open to give us even more delicious options. Lucky for us, Michoacana Creamery is opening its doors this weekend and bringing tons of amazing treats with it. This Mexican dessert shop in Fort Worth is putting its spin on the traditional snacks.
Treats start at around $2 and work their way up from there. The creamery puts its own spin on elotes, even having a Zombie themed one for the season. You'll have an array of colorful choices to pick from. Most of the elotes are adorned with chips and colored spices.
One of their more famous toppings is "Blue Heat." The Zombie Elote is made with the dust of Zombie Takis, which adds an extra crunchy layer. They do offer a traditional form of the snacks, but why settle for the ordinary, right?
Aside from delicious corn, the food joint carries paletas with slices of fruit wedged in the middle. Other treats include delicious lemonades filled to the brim with Mexican candies. They even have a Monster Mixed drink that is sure to give you more energy than you bargained for.
This is the second shop of its kind, with the first one being in Arlington. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, from noon to 10 p.m. on Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
