This Small Texas Town Near Houston Is Having The Cutest Wine Festival This Spring

There is something about drinking wine that feels so sophisticated and fancy. Drinking out of a nice wine glass can feel like going back in time to a classier era before red plastic cups. And there's something about a charming old-timey town that makes everything you do more dreamy. In a perfect combo of the two, there's a wine festival coming near Houston this spring that lets you sample a bunch of wine in the cutest old town.
Not far outside of Houston, Old Town Spring is having their Spring Wine & Art Festival this April 4 and 5! The old downtown is full of cute local storefronts and antique shops that make it the most charming place to try out Texas wines.
Texas might not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking of the favorite alcoholic drink but the state has a ton of wineries and vineyards, a lot of whom will be serving up tastings at the festival.
Admission to the fest is free which means you can browse all the vendors for no charge but you can definitely pick up a bottle or two if you'd like.
However, if you want to sample all the different Texas wines, the tasting tickets are $25 online and come with 10 tasting tickets and a commemorative wine glass. Each additional tasting ticket is a dollar.
There will be local vendors there selling different art pieces like handmade jewelry, clothing, and photography.
Even without the wine fest,because it's full of small-town charm and great antique and old-timey vendors selling everything from antiques to funnel cake.
Browsing through the different stores and art vendors that will be lined up and down Main Street while sipping on some wine is the picture-perfect way to spend a girl's day or a cute spring date!
