In Chinese they don't say "spill the tea," they say, "Feng Cha," which means to serve tea with respect and esteem, and I think that's beautiful. Their culture is definitely a lot more refined than our wild American culture is. Nonetheless, the delicious drinks inspired by the iconic phrase are now avaliable at a new teahouse called Feng Cha in Sugar Land and, soon, Houston.
Feng Cha in Sugar Land had their grand opening on June 18th, and another location is already slated to open in Houston in late July.
They offer no shortage of sugary creations, but they're most famous for their Dirty Boba - and it's pretty obvious as to why that is. It's all creme brulee brown sugar with cheese foam and sugar honey boba.
Here's a peek into more of the crazy good items on their menu:
- Oreo Cheese Milk Tea
- Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea
- Milk Foam Tea
- Jasmin Apple Green Tea
- Cherry Castle
- Little Cow roll cake
- Fruit Tea Bar
You'll have such a hard time choosing between which drink to get, you'll likely end up like this girl - just getting all of them.
And it looks like the Chinese equivelent of "so good it makes you wanna slap your mama," is "so good it makes you wanna marry your coworker." Once again, so much more refined.
Feng Cha launched in 2016 and already have more than 700 locations around the world. They aim to not just be a pit stop, but a place where you can stay and kick back or get to work in the welcoming atmosphere.
The Sugar Land location is open from 11 am to 10 pm on Sunday through Thursday and until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.
