If you're from Texas then you know that being obsessed with seafood comes second nature, and there's nothing wrong with that! In fact, it's something worth celebrating, which is why Houston is hosting a crawfish festival this February, and it's going to be massive.
Texans will get the chance to eat as much seafood as they'd like while enjoying live music, the company of fellow seafood lovers, and delicious drinks to wash it all down with.
On Saturday, February 29 the King of Crawfish Fest is coming to Houston from 3 to 10 p.m. The fest will be all-you-can-eat, which means you don't ever have to stop chowing down, even if you're feeling slightly full.
King of Crawfish Fest will be hosted at none other than the Emancipation Park Conservancy, a hot spot for many of Houston's most iconic fests.
While we've mentioned seafood several times up until this point, it's important to know all kinds of food will be served.
It's called King of Crawfish because attendees will help determine Houston's crown holder by the end of the day.
The top-ranked specialty chefs in the area will be there, serving up their most delicious crawfish.
Tickets, an all-you-can-eat crawfish pass and access to VIP cabanas will soon be available for purchase.
Keep your eyes on the host's official Eventbrite page, as it'll soon be updated with the 2020 fest's info.
If February feels too far away, don't worry, Houston has plenty of other enticing events coming up in the next month!
Houstonian or not, we expect to see you at Houston's King of Crawfish fest come February.
We're giving you plenty of notice, after all.
