For it's second occurance, Tacos Over Texas in Houston is back this May so you can consume tacos made by chefs from all over the country. Tacos Over Texas is not only going to be a fantastic event to enjoy with your friends and family, but it's also for a good cause.
The Ninfa Laurenzo Scholarship Fund is hosting Tacos Over Texas on Sunday, May 19th from 12 pm - 4 pm. The event will take place by hosts The Original Ninfa's on Navigation, where it will be located, and El Tiempo Cantina. Don't forget to come on an empty stomach so you can eat tons of tacos, it's highly encouraged to make the most out of your day.
If you ever wondered where Taco Al Carbon first started, you have Mama Ninfa to thank for that magnificent taco creation. The chefs brought in from around the country are participating in a friendly competition to see who can get closest to Mama Ninfa's Taco Al Carbon. And who better to sample all of the tasty tacos they come up with other than local Texans themselves?
Tickets for Tacos Over Texas start at $40 per person and all proceeds will be going to the Ninfa Laurenzo Scholarship Fund which helps give back to education in Houston. Not only will you be able to sample tons of tacos at the event, you'll also be able to drink the best beer, wine, and margaritas. During your delicious eating, there will be live entertainment throughout the event. Tacos Over Texas is not something you want to miss out on.
