Who doesn't love tacos? Am I right? But even better, who doesn't love all-you-can-eat tacos? Gather your people because Tacolandia is landing in Houston this October and they are bringing together all of the best tacos one can find in Houston!
On Oct. 19, arrive hungry to The Waterworks At Buffalo Bayou because the options will be endless at Houston Press' Tacolandia. For only $25, you'll get to taste unlimited samples from all of the taco vendors, watch entertainment, and drink if you please because alcoholic beverages will be for sale. The event will start at 4 p.m., so here's to hoping the sun goes down fast enough from some breezy air before it ends at 7 p.m. It is October, after all.
If we were you, we'd opt to go for the VIP ticket. It's a little bit more pricey at $65, but this is an unlimited taco festival and the lines are going to be long. With the VIP ticket, you'll get early entry at 3 p.m. and access to the VIP Lounge where they'll have exclusive taco samples. Also included in that deal will be three drink tickets you can use at the VIP private bar.
This is all still pre-sale pricing so buy now! If you wait, you might have to pay more at the door to eat from 30 delicious vendors. Some of the confirmed vendors include Ambriza Social Mexican Kitchen, Chilosos Taco Stand, Caliente, and La Calle. That's just a short list!
If you aren't able to make it to Tacolandia in Houston, there are plenty more taco festivals happening in Texas that are worth the drive. For instance, there's a free taco fest in San Antonio next month!
And if tacos aren't your thing, is brunch? For an extra $27, you can have general admission access to both Tacotopia and Houston Press' Morning After Brunch festival. For more information on the event and to get your tickets, you can visit their website here.
