Now, you can finally suggest "Wienerschnitzel" when all your friends are complaining about where to eat. And when they say "What did you just call me?!" you can calm their spirits by happily announcing that the first-ever Wienerschnitzel is opening in Houston this Sunday, according to Chron.com. Just don't write it in a text maybe, that autocorrect is way too dangerous.
Previously, if you were craving one of their beefy chili cheese dogs, you'd have to drive all the way to College Station or Beaumont. I mean, c'mon, there are 44 locations in Texas, and not one in the Houston area? But have no fear, Chick-Fil-A's day off won't be so dark this week.
This Wienerschnitzel location will serve their iconic hotdogs, burgers, sandwhiches, fries, Tastee-Freez, and breakfast items, including the Chili Cheese Egg Burrito. It will have a dining area as well as a drive-through.
The chain serves more than 120 million hotdogs a year, they have nearly 350 locations, and have been kickin' it for over 50 years. In celebration of the new opening, order one of their "crowd pleasers." The #7 Crowd Pleaser incorporates all the favorites is four whole chili dogs, four corn dogs, and four chili cheese fries. Mukbangs just got really, really serious.
Or just go for the simple Chili Cheese Lover's Deal for $4.99.
The restaraunt will be located at 20172 U.S. Hwy 59 in New Caney, TX on the corner of U.S. Hwy 59 & Walton Ave. This is just roughly 30 minutes from downtown—a drive that has nothing on our 5 o'clock traffic jam trip.
Now we have an In-N-Out and a Wienerschnitzel? Insert crying emoji.
