Texas is home to many famous burger joints, Whataburger, In-N-Out, and P. Terry's being just some. We all have our favorite but that could simply be due to some burger joints being way too far of a drive to get our hands on their delicious patties. For San Antonians, this will soon no longer be the case when it comes to this Austin favorite because San Antonio is getting its first P. Terry's this fall!

That's right folks, the Austin-based burger joint is finally making its way to Alamo City.

It's about time that our commute to P. Terry's got shorter and that our list of burger options for lunch or dinner got longer.

P. Terry's only recently ventured into San Marcos territory, which is a little less than an hour outside of Austin.

So you can imagine just how long a San Antonian's drive can get!

The exact date of the restaurant's opening in San Antonio is TBD, though we know it'll be some time this fall.

Get your pens out, you'll want to write this next part down.

The P. Terry's in San Antonio will be located at 8539 Fredericksburg Road, in the heart of downtown.

Customers can expect a double drive-thru, a covered patio, and a dining room that seats up to 65 guests.

That means plenty of room for you and your friends to come out and enjoy a nice, juicy burger for super low prices.

The burger joint is known for its ingredients being all-natural and totally fresh. That's not something you can find just anywhere!

If this news excites you just as much as it excites us, then keep reading.

A famous Midwest burger joint called White Castle will be making an appearance in San Antonio for just two days next month, and you'll definitely want to check it out.

If this past year was any indicator, fall will be here before we know it.

For now, we'll be planning a visit to P. Terry's in San Marcos or Austin to prepare our tastebuds for many future trips to come.
