If there was ever a pair of best friends in the history of the world, it's got to be bacon and beer. So, we're beyond thrilled that an epic concoction of both are clashing at this Seattle food festival next month. If you're a lover of all things chill and greasy, you wouldn't want to miss out on this!
*This event has been postponed to summer 2020 & the dates will be announced shortly.
Tickets are on sale right now for $40 (they'll be $45 at the door if they're not sold out) and these aren't just to get you into the venue. They include 12 drink tokens, live music, yard games, and lots of tasty treats.
You can also expect over 80 different beers and ciders from 40 breweries. If you're not an ale person, no worries.
You can get mimosas, root beer floats, boozy hot chocolate or chill at the 30-foot Bloody Mary Bar and top off your tipple with fried goodies or cheesy fare of your choice.
Here's the best part: This show benefits the Northwest Harvest, one of the Evergreen State's biggest hunger-relief agencies that supports food banks and meal programs.
While you toast away to a good cause, you'll also have access to some of Pacific Northwest's best chefs and food trucks, who'll all be selling creative bacon delights starting at $5.
You can expect vendors like Where Ya At Matt, Watson's Counter, Fremont Brewing, The People's Burger, and Sunny Up.
They'll be serving everything from jalapeno hushpuppies to queso fries and nachos, waffle sandwiches, hashbrowns, grilled bread, benedicts and biscuits topped with — you guessed it — a generous amount of bacon!
If you're a true-blue pork connoisseur, you can even add a touch of it to your desserts.
There'll be beignets that'll come with bacon jam or sweet 'n' savory waffles stuffed with vanilla bacon. Either way, your options are endless.
There's not only a dueling piano show to revel in, but you and your friends can also challenge each other to giant Jenga, life-size Yahtzee, massive beer pong or to a round of Bacon Bingo.
There are even inflatable Hungry Hungry Hippos to get your game on.
If you'd rather just chill, like last year, there's going to be a giant bouncy skillet.
You can sizzle here like your favorite foods with a side of veggies and get Instagrammable snaps while you're at it.
We think this is how all springtimes should begin!
