Fort Edmonton is one of the city's best parks. You can enjoy the historical aspects that the park has to offer, or simply take a walk and enjoy the beauty around you. There's always lots of activities going on, so you can visit multiple times throughout the fall.

Muttart Conservatory // 9626 96A Street

The Muttart is a great place to visit, no matter the time of year. Up until September 17th they're running an exhibit in honour of Canada's 150th birthday, featuring Canadian native plants, a giant botanical birthday cake, and a topiary of the Canadian flag.

Edmonton Valley Zoo // 13315 Buena Vista Road & 87th Ave

Fall is arguably the best time to visit the zoo, because it's not too hot, nor too cold. Both you and the animals can have a great time.

EBGA Real Ale Festival // 7727 98 Street

Drink 'till ya drop. On September 9th, the EBGA Real Ale Fest features popular breweries from across Western Canada, serving up the best real ale you can find in Edmonton.

Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival // 9930 102 Ave

This festival is the second most important holiday in Chinese culture. On September 10th, participate in lantern making from 1:00 - 4:00 at the Alberta Legislature Building, and then on September 23rd, watch the beauty of the lantern parade, or even just enjoy the festivities of the day, including live performances and and food.

BLOOM Festival // Shaw Conference Centre

From October 5th - 8th, partake in this festival geared at creating a happy, and healthier Edmonton. BLOOM is a 4 day immersion of yoga, music, and meditation; perfect to get you in a peaceful mindset before the winter blues kick in.
