Medicine Lake

If you find yourself on a trip to Jasper National Park this summer, you absolutely have to make a pit stop at Medicine Lake. If those gorgeous views aren't enticing enough, you should probably know that the lake itself is a bit magical. Every winter, sink holes at the bottom cause it to drain into a giant mudflat, while the water travels through a series of underwater caves to the Maligne Canyon! Cool, hey?

Athabasca Falls

Another must-visit in Jasper National Park are the gorgeous Athabasca Falls. These waterfalls are some of the most powerful you'll find in the mountains national parks, forming canyons and potholes in the limestone underneath. Not only are the falls themselves beautiful, but the surrounding view of the mountains makes it a picture-perfect pitstop!

Peyto Lake

If you're heading here, you'll want to make a stop at the beautiful Peyto Lake, where the water is the most amazing shade of blue, and will look beyond amazing on your IG! The hike to the top may be tricky, but it's totally worth it.

Waterton Lakes National Park

If lowkey is what you're looking for, Waterton Lakes National Park is probably where you'll want to head. While Banff and Jasper are usually packed with tourists, this park holds all the same beauty, which much less of the bustle! Be sure to bring along your camera and snap some photos of the picturesque lakes and mountains around you!

Lake Louise

If you're planning on getting in a hike or two this summer, Lake Louise is the prime spot to do just that! No matter if you're a beginner or an expert, you'll be able to pick a trail and scope out some seriously amazing views of the beauty around you.

Dinosaur Trail

If you want to feel like a kid again this summer, plan a trip out to Drumheller, where you'll find Dinosaur Trail! Check out all the amazing dinosaur-related artifacts and museums, or snap some cool pictures of the hoodoos and other fun scenery!

West Edmonton Mall

If you're not the outdoorsy type, but still want to go on an adventure this summer, why not make the trip up to Edmonton for a day of shopping and indoor exploring?! West Edmonton Mall not only has hundreds of stores for you to blow some money, but you can also visit World Waterpark and Galaxyland for a day of fun!

Banff Upper Hot Springs

It may be hot af outside, but that doesn't mean you can't go for a dip in the hot springs! After a long day of exploring the beauty of Banff, an hour or two of relaxing and snapping pictures here may be just what you need. If that's not tempting enough, it's totally affordable too!
