This Edmonton Diner Will Make You Feel Like You're In "Riverdale"

Serious Pop's Chock'Lit Shoppe vibes.
Edmonton Diner Will Will Make You Feel Like You're In Riverdale

Are you a huge CW's television show based upon the Archie comics? If so, you need to visit this retro Edmonton Diner. Inside the vintage-inspired 50's style restaurant, you'll feel like you're at Pop's Chock'Lit Shoppe in Riverdale.

DaDeo's Diner & Bar is a hidden gem in Edmonton. The old-school eatery is a blast from the past, and you can easily picture Betty, Veronica, Jughead, and Archie sipping milkshakes here.

Just like at Pop's Chock'Lit Shoppe, you'll find vinyl booth tables with mini jukeboxes, neon signs and a checkboard floor. If you are hooked on all the drama in the newest season five of Riverdale, you'll want to visit this spot with your friends.

Yet unlike Pop's Chock'Lit Shoppe, this diner is adults-only. The menu is also a bit different than you might expect too.

At a 50's diner, you might be picturing juicy burgers, pies and milkshakes. But here, the focus is authentic New Orleans cuisine and good music.

There aren't any milkshakes on the menu, but you can order some a Cajun burger and a slice of key lime pie. Or if you want to enjoy some of their signature dishes, opt for the spicy jambalaya or tasty Po'Boys.

Meals range in price from $8 to $30, but at lunch, the prices are slightly lower.

Also, on Monday and Tuesday nights, you can get the Po'Boys for $14 instead of the regular $17.

The restaurant is open every day of the week, except on Wednesdays. As it is also a spot where you can enjoy boozy cocktails or beers, it also remains open late most nights too.

For a more authentic Pop's experience, you might want to plan a road trip to B.C. because you can visit the actual diner where the pilot was filmed.

While you are at it, you'll be able to explore some of the other filming locations near Vancouver, such as the high school and drive-in.
