If you like wine and you like Christmas, you’re going to love this. The 12 Nights of Wine advent calendar is officially back in Alberta and it's the only boozy countdown to Christmas that you need this year. The Edmonton wine advent calendar is available in-store right in the city, or you can order it online.

The 12 Night of Wine calendar, created by VINEBOX, will be available at Aligra Wine & Spirits in West Edmonton Mall and it is being sold for $129. It's apparently the world's first wine calendar, and you can have one of your very own this Christmas.

The box includes one glass of wine for each of the 12 days. According to the VINEBOX website, they’re “about the little guys, the stories behind the wine, the towns and the terroirs.”

They carefully curate wines to bring you the best possible sipping experience. “Life is too short to drink bad wine. We’re here to help.” 

The holidays are all about indulgence, so why not refine your pallet by sipping on high-quality wine? It's not a one-size-fits-all, either. You can pick your box depending on if you're naughty, nice, or a bit of both.

There are three advent calendar boxes to choose from. The “Naughty” version is filled with red wine selections, whereas the “Nice” calendar is filled with white. Or, you can opt for the “Naughty & Nice” advent calendar which features a mix of the two.

"It’s not drinking, it’s a wine tasting, and that makes it classy," says the Aligra Wine & Spirits website.
