Edmonton has a great food scene. From crave-worthy brunch spots to cool upscale bars, it seems that every week brings something new to try.
If you’re into hamburgers, beers, and all-around tasty comfort food, you'll want to pay a visit to Royale. Located at 10145 104 St. N.W., this diner is both sleek and casual.
The diner has posted some teasers of their menu on Instagram. Between the thick hamburger patties and fluffy house-made buns, it's hard to keep your mouth from watering.
Along with their staple burgers are tall milkshakes topped with Oreo pieces and cake sprinkles. It wouldn't be a true Canadian diner without poutine, and theirs looks extra gooey.
Once you’re done indulging in their classic menu items, you'll need some room for dessert. Royale makes their pies and donuts fresh in house.
According to a photo of their menu from the soft launch event, burgers and sandwiches are each $11. On the side, you could get an order of onion rings, twice-cooked fries, or a BLT salad.
Desserts and sides start at $5 and go up from there depending on what you’re craving.
All in all, it’s still an insanely cheap place to eat.
Edmonton is known for having some delicious burger joints, so be sure to add this place to your list.
If you’re in the mood to try a little something different than the Beyond Burger at A&W, consider hitting up Royale. Now that the doors are open, we can all enjoy what they have to offer.
