Located at the Lincoln National Forest in the neighboring state of New Mexico, this scenic loop trail hike near Texas is a hidden gem for many Texans and should be on your bucket list if you love outdoor adventures.
Osha Trail is a 2.5-mile trail located near Cloudcroft, in New Mexico, that's a less than a 2-hour trip from El Paso.
This hiking spot is one of the favorites in the Lincoln National Forest, not only because it is beautiful at any time of the year, but also for all the surprises that await you along the way.
Probably the most famous one is the Mexican Canyon Railway Trestle, which is a sweet spot for one of a kind pictures. Some people even have professional couple or wedding photoshoots there. Crazy!
Osha Trail begins and ends at Us Hwy. 82, just north of the Village of Cloudcroft. It is better to wander the area from May to November, though you may encounter some traffic at that time of the year.
