This New Horror Movie On Netflix Canada Is As Scary As "The Haunting Of Hill House"

As far as most people are concerned, when the clock strikes midnight on the first of October, it's basically Halloween. Autumn rolls into full swing, the leaves are changing colour, the air is getting crisper, and a general sense of spookiness fills the air. Even if you're too old to throw on a costume and go door to door begging for candy, you're never too old to get in the spirit of such a fun holiday. One thing that a lot of fanatics absolutely love is horror movies, and this year, Netflix is doing an amazing job of rolling out some seriously bone-chilling content throughout the month of October. Eli on Netflix Canada is scarier than The Haunting of Hill House.

If you're one of the scary movie fanatics out there, Netflix's latest project is perfect for you. The film is called Eli, and it's about a young boy who suffers from an auto-immune disorder. In hopes of keeping their son safe and healthy, the Miller family moves to a sterile manor for the duration of his treatments. Like in most horror movies, things don't go as planned. Eli begins to have visions, many of which are terrifying, but doctors simply brush them off as hallucinations that are occurring because of his condition.

If it's any testament to just how scary Eli is, it was produced by the same people as The Haunting of Hill House, which is notoriously known for being one of the scariest shows that Netflix has put out to date.

Back in September, Netflix announced that it would be releasing a new original horror movie every week throughout the month of October "that will provide all the thrills and chills you need to survive the Halloween season". They released In the Shadow of the Moon last week and will be releasing In the Tall Grass tomorrow, October 4.

Eli will be available for streaming on Netflix as of October 18. You can check out the full trailer for the film below, although you probably won't want to watch it alone.
