Winter has finally broken. That being said, with warmer weather on the way (finally) Canadians will no doubt want to cool down. Luckily, Burger King Canada is offering cheap ice cream and shakes to mellow out the heat.\nRight now, you can get a soft-serve cone for just $1, or a delicious mini-shake for $2 (available in chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla). It's the kind of deal built for summer.\nOn top of the low price, all of Burger King's frozen products are made with 100 percent Canadian dairy.\nThe loonie price tag will only be available for a limited time though, so you might want to get out early and take advantage of it.\nBurger King locations are currently offering takeout and drive-thru service. They also offer delivery through a number of services including Skip The Dishes and Uber Eats.\nWhile McDonald's usually introduces a $1 cone deal around this time, the chain has actually taken cones off of their menu during the pandemic to simplify operations.\nWhile an ice cream deal is exciting and definitely something that will draw people outside, it's important to remember that the world is still in the midst of a pandemic.\nThat means enjoying your frozen treats at least two metres away from anyone else. At least if it melts onto your hand, it will also encourage you to wash them.\nGo mini or go home. Anyone up for treats made with 100% Canadian Dairy, like the Chocolate Mini Shake with Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup? 🙋♀️🙋♂️ pic.twitter.com/xZV6SVVGF4— Burger King Canada (@BurgerKingCAN) May 18, 2020\nNo one is entirely sure what this summer is going to look like. Even Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that it's not going to be the usual season we're all used to.\nLet us do the cooking on #TakeoutDay.
