If there's anything better than hockey, it's watching your favourite team with some free food. In the spirit of cheering on the home team, the Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that you can score some free Popeyes chicken tenders during their home games this season. Suddenly, cheering on the home team just got a lot more exciting.

According to the Toronto Maple Leafs, you can get a free three-piece chicken tenders from Popeyes during any home game this season at participating Popeyes across Canada. So whether you're on the way to the arena, or on your way home to watch the game on the big screen, you can also pick up a pre-game snack on the way.

Getting this deal is simple, all you need to do is download the Toronto Maple Leafs app. Once you've downloaded the app you can find the offer under the 'Fans' tab. Click on the promotion, and show your screen to the cashier at Popeyes and the free chicken is all yours.

However, in order to score the free chicken, a minimum purchase of a large drink is required. Yet, while grabbing your tenders why not pair it with a soda to help get you through the game?

It's important to note that this offer is only available at participating Popeyes locations across Canada and only one coupon is allowed to be redeemed per customer.

Yet, according to the app, you're able to score the free chicken during any home game from now until April 5, 2020.

The Toronto Maple Leafs kicked off their 2019-2020 season earlier this month at Scotiabank Arena by facing off against the Ottawa Senators.

Thursday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be going up against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The game will be kicking off at the Scotiabank Arena, making it the perfect opportunity to score on those free chicken tenders!

Go Leafs, Go!
