We've entered the world of "adulting", and we have SO many questions. Like, "Why the f$#% is food so expensive?!? Eating out is a broke Calgarian foodie's worst nightmare. It seems like everywhere you turn, someone raised their prices. Next thing you know, you're wondering why you just spent $15 on a salad.

But worry no more, fellow broke foodie. Here's 16 places you can satisfy your hunger for under $6 in YYC.

Well Juicery // 1327B 9th Avenue SE

Kill your hunger the healthy way. Well Juicery offers delicious freshly pressed juice options for $6. Not to mention it comes in a super cute bottle that'll fit quite perfectly beside that selfie on your IG page.

If you're up for a wrap, a sandwich or Shawarma, head over to Cedar's Deli. All their sandwiches/wraps range from $4.75 to $6.00. Don't worry, you don't have to run out of there, they didn't undercharge you.

Juliet's Castle Sportsbar & Lounge // 440 16th Avenue NE

Looking for the perfect wing spot in YYC? You have to check out Juliet's Castle. Fair warning, when the waitress tells you the suicide wings are absolutely killer... please, believe her. JC offers 25 cent wings every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Yeah, you read that right. $0.25 wings, 4 days a week. Not to mention, free live music on Saturdays and music from YYC's youngest urban DJ, DJ Newboy, on Mondays. Who says you can't turn up on a Monday night?

Freshii // 9737 Macleod Trail SE

In the mood for a delicious green smoothie or some Fro-Yo? Freshii is the place to be. Expanding all over YYC, this healthy snack bar offers drinks, snacks, and treats all $6 or less. Who says you can't be healthy on a budget?

Peter's Drive In // 219 16th Avenue NE

If you're in YYC and haven't tried Peter's Drive In, you're probably feeling out of the loop considering their milkshakes are all anyone ever talks about around here. Now that I think about it, you probably shouldn't actually tell a Calgarian that you haven't been to Peter's. It's hard to tell what's better, the milkshakes themselves or the fact that it only cost $4.50. Also, the fries, burgers, and onion rings are all under $6, as well. Just thought I'd throw that in there. Peter's Drive-In has the entire city of Calgary feeling #BLESSED.

Double Zero // 6455 Macleod Trail SW

Right inside Chinook Centre lies the cutest pizza restaurant you'll ever visit. The artwork in this restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing. But more importantly, the food is absolutely delicious. Double Zero has a $5 Happy Hour between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, where a good chunk of the food and drink menu is $5. *Waves $5 bill in the air*

Moose McGuire's // 1941 Uxbridge Drive NW

Treat the whole gang to a wing night at Moose McGuire's. 35 cent wings on Tuesdays and Sundays. Looks like we can have wings almost every day of the week. Probably not recommended, but who really makes good decisions when it comes to food these days anyway?

Brown Sugar Bake Shop // 235 Milligan Drive

Satisfy your sweet tooth at Brown Sugar Bake Shop. Ah.. Brown Sugar... the cutest little bakeshop, where all the flowers on the table are colourful and all the baked goods are under $6. The baked goods are made completely from scratch, daily. Brown Sugar also offers many gluten-free options, so everyone can enjoy their delicious cupcakes. Not gonna pretend that their Apple Cheddar muffins haven't completely taken over my life.

Kim Anh Vietnamese Subs // 626 17 Avenue SW

Kim Anh has some of the best Vietnamese Subs on 17th Ave. Swing by and grab a $6 sub or a $5 smoothie. Kim Anh is a sub-genuis.

Postino Cafe + Lounge // 2520 Capitol Hill Crescent NW

Artisan Bites, Craft Wine & Beer all for under $5. Postino Cafe is one of YYC's cutest cafes. However, what's not-so-cute is the lack of self-control when you see all their baked goods and pastries. No judgements here, we get it, the cinnamon roll cookies are a way of life.

Kanpai Sushi // 110-1414 8th St SW

More soup for the sushi lovers soul. Kanpai Sushi on 8th offers Nigiri Sushi for $1.85 - $2.75. Get your chopsticks out friends, or your hands, if you're uncoordinated like me.

Jelly Modern Doughnuts // 1414 8 St SW

If you can't tell by now, we love baked goods. These delicious babies sell for $2.75 each. Try to keep calm. We might possibly be opening up the door to a sugar addiction, but again, treat yourself.
