Alberta is about to become uncharacteristically green this December when a cult-favourite all-matcha cafe touches down in Calgary for the first time ever. Tsujiri is a Japanese brand that's been in the matcha business for 158 years. They announced their new location and according to their Instagram stories, their planned opening date is Sunday, December 8. Calgary's matcha cafe is going to paint the town green.\nThat means you could get your hands on their all-green treats soon and it's a surprisingly refreshing twist on your typical holiday treats. Plus, the bright green colour is so festive.\nTheir menu has high-quality teas, matcha lattes and matcha cappuccinos that are the perfect warming pick-me-up on a cold day.\nPlus, their matcha shaved ice, parfaits, floats and ice cream are the ultimate decadent matcha treat. It's a good alternative if you're tired of your standard bubble tea, too.\nExpect light-as-air matcha desserts like cream puffs, mochi, cheesecakes and layered crepe cakes on their menu, too.\nYou can also get traditional Japanese-inspired treats like puffy matcha daifuku. Indulge in flavours like black sesame, yuzu and houjicha.\nCalgary has no shortage of amazing spots for treats. Whether you're in the mood for a breakfast fondue or the most delicious pasta dishes ever — foodies are in heaven right now with all the options.\nIf you're a big fan of matcha, then this new all-matcha cafe is going to be your new favourite spot in Calgary.\nView this post on Instagram HOW MATCHA CAN WE GET!?🍵|| Matcha frappe, latte, and cake #matcha #tsujiri #tsujirimatcha #matchafrappe #matchalatte #matchagreentea #cake #icecream #tsujiririchmond #richmondeats #vancouverfoodie A post shared by •Foodies.YVR• (@foodies.yvr) on Aug 16, 2019 at 12:06am PDT\nAlberta already has one Tsujiri location in Edmonton, but this will be their first in Calgary.\nTsujiri also has locations in B.C. and Ontario and is planning to open even more across Canada in places like Montreal and Halifax.\nView this post on Instagram If you havent noticed already, I’ve been eating a lot of ice cream since I came back to Vancouver...
