For veggies, vegans and general-plant-lovers, Canada is a great country to live in. Plant-based goodies are now more accessible than ever, and are even available in most of the country’s fast-food joints! However, for those special-occasion nights out that have you wanting to get a little more bougie, OpenTable have compiled a list of Canada’s Top 50 Vegetarian Restaurants around the country, and some of them sound pretty incredible!\nWhen it comes to the vegetarian/vegan scene, OpenTable’s list seems to suggest that Ontario and B.C. are definitely dominating the game. Of the 50 Canadian restaurants on the list, a whopping 32 were based in Ontario, with 14 in Toronto alone! Furthermore, an additional nine of Canada’s best were in B.C., leaving only 15 ‘top 50’ restaurants across the whole of the rest of the country!\nTo compile their list of the best veggie-joints in the country, OpenTable considered venues from across nine provinces, and took into consideration more than 500,000 verified reviews.\nIf you’re outside of Ontario and B.C., don’t worry. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from across the rest of the country, which could be a little closer to home.\nView this post on Instagram “Bamia” - Épaule d’agneau braisé, avec tomates, ail croustillant à la coriandre, prunes et abricots. // Braised lamb shoulder, with okra, tomato sauce, prunes & dried apricots.
