Clementine is a fairly new addition to the Edmonton bar/ food scene. Yet, having only been open for a few months, it has already created quite the buzz. Located on Jasper Ave. (in the Oliver neighbourhood), at the bottom of the Pearl Condominium tower, this tiny bar proves that a lot can be accomplished in a small space. As soon as you enter, you’re completely dazzled by the art-nouveau inspired decor, that's perfectly enhanced by the ambient lighting. It seriously makes you regret wearing your favourite ripped-knee jeans (that you purchased on the grounds that they had holes…because, fashUN). via @barclementine via @barclementine In terms of food, the menu at Clementine consists of imaginative and inspired dishes that are both wonderfully flavourful, and reflect the amount of thought and care that went into the preparation of each meal. I cannot recommend the sourdough rye pancake enough. It was, as they say, ? (emojis are worth a thousand words—or was that pictures? Same thing, right?). via @barclementine via @barclementine Their wine list is great, so if that’s what you’ve been craving, they have got you covered. However, the highlight of this bar has got to be their creatively-made cocktails. You will be astonished by the carefully chosen ingredients that go into each drink, which all help to achieve Clementine’s goal of “invok[ing] particular feelings and memories” (as stated on their website). via @barclementine via @barclementine via @barclementine All in all, everyone should experience what Clementine has to offer. From the spiffily-dressed bartenders, and beautiful décor, to the spectacular menu. This bar manages to give off the classiest of vibes, all while maintaining its integrity as a great go-to spot for drinks and food. via @barclementine via @michnic via @barclementine via @landfaculty So, if you haven’t already, be sure to pay Clementine a visit.
