The Sweet Bites Bake Bake Shoppe in Oakville, Ontario, has come up with a unique way to keep up business and share a relevant message at the same time.
The shop is now selling "Quarantine Cake" and you can send one to a friend or to yourself to share some love and advice during this time.
The cakes serve two to four people, depending on how hungry you are, and come adorned with messages like, "don't touch your face", or "social distance & chill".
Flavours include Chocolate Sundae, Salted Caramel Vanilla, Chocolate Strawberry, and Vanilla Sprinkle.
Narcity reached out to the bakery owner, Kathy Tang, who said she was inspired by the Butter& cake store in San Francisco, which recently started selling their own versions of quarantine cakes.
Tang was forced toamid the COVID-19 outbreak and has since seen a huge decrease in business.
She felt that the cakes were a great way to pull together and brighten everyone's day, as well as reinforce CDC health messages in a sweet way.
