It's that time of year again. Tim Hortons Mini Egg donuts are back, but are they better than ever? The restaurant shared some very cute promotional pics of the seasonal treat so I had to find out if they looked just as cute in real life. \nI hit up my local drive-thru to try the new Dream Donut and this is my honest opinion. \nEditor's Choice: Lotto Max $15 Million Jackpot Was Won But It Wasn't In Ontario Or Quebec\n\nTim Hortons Mini Egg Donut 2021\nThis year the coffee chain added the seasonal specialty to their line of Dream Donuts, which are filled donuts with fancy toppings and a higher price. \nWith a big price tag, though, comes bigger egg-spectations (pun intended). Especially since the ads for this treat looked very aesthetically pleasing. \nThe promo pics showed vibrant coloured eggs, nestled on top of a field of pretty pastel sprinkles. \nI am very pleased to report that, aside from a Mini Egg that had fallen off in transport, what I got looked exactly like the pictures. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Elizabeth Keith | Narcity\n \n \n \n\nTim Hortons Mini Egg Donut Filling\nWhen it comes to taste, I was pleasantly surprised. While some Dream Donuts have not impressed when it comes to flavour, I would say this is one of the better ones in the bunch. \nThe donut was soft, like their typical treats, with sweet icing on top and a bit of crunch from the sprinkles. Of course, the Mini Eggs on top were delicious. \nThen there was the filling inside, which was your basic donut filling — not overly sweet, and it kept the treat moist. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Elizabeth Keith | Narcity\n \n \n \n\nTim Hortons Mini Egg Donut Fails\nWhile this donut lived up to my expectations, other people aren't always so lucky. \nIn the past, we have seen a number of Dream Donuts of various kinds that are more like nightmares. \nDear @TimHortons I would love to know what the heck happened here?
