Your mornings just got a lot more Canadian with the launch of an exciting new cereal. Tim Hortons is a staple in every Canadian's diet, and now there's a whole different way to enjoy this iconic venue's food. Grab a spoon and some milk, because Tim Hortons Timbit cereal just launched across the country, and it's the best news we've heard all year.

2020 is off to a great start already with the emergence of this breakfast product.

We've all been hungry for more news since it was hinted at back in October.

The country was thrown into a state of anticipation when Twitter user Rob Turudic posted a photo of a Tim Hortons cereal box with the caption, "This is happening, folks."

The suspense has finally come to an end, as the Post Timbits Cereal was officially announced in a press release today.

The Canadian icon partnered with Post Foods Canada to reveal two flavours that will be hitting stores across the country in early 2020.

You can indulge in Chocolate Glazed and Birthday Cake to start your day off in the most Canadian way ever.

"...With two of Canada's favourite Timbits flavours available in our new cereals, breakfast time will have a whole new element of fun for the entire family," David Bagozzi, Vice President of Marketing at Post Foods Canada said in the release.

The crunchy morning eat is filled with flavour and will make you feel like you've dived into a box of these famous Canadian desserts.

Birthday Cake consists of confetti covered crisps, while Chocolate Glazed appears to be reminiscent of the childhood favourite, Nesquick.

You can find these patriotic puffs in major grocery store retailers across Canada.

The release is a perfect excuse to eat dessert for breakfast and to indulge in even more Tim Hortons.

You can also pick up Tim Hortons canned soup at participating retail locations in Canada.
