1. 7 West Cafe // 7 Charles St.W

The gloomy, yet comforting 7 West sets the perfect atmosphere to get your study sesh going. The best times to go would definitely be mid-afternoon, but keep in mind for your convenience they are open 24/7.

2. E.J Pratt Library // 71 Queen's Park Cres.E

 This recently renovated library (costing $8.3 million) has plenty of new and old material (collected from the 1960's) which can definitely save your last minute 3,000 word essay. Located at Victoria College, E.J Pratt is a cozy place to study, has many rooms to accommodate your mood and provides free WIFI.

3. Tokyo Smoke // 850 Adelaide St.W. 

Tokyo Smoke is a super hip and small place that offers free WIFI access, serves freshly brewed coffee and cold beverages. On a warm day, you also have the choice to sit outside on a comfy chair or at a table. Make sure to arrive early because King St.West locals love this place and the seating space is limited.

4. City Hall Green Roof // 100 Queen St.W 

If you are behind on reading material, the City Hall Green Roof is an ideal place to be. It is about 3,250 m2, situated on the top of the podium roof and is open all year round. Take a seat under a terrace, enjoy your read along with a beautiful view.

5. Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library (UOfT) // 120 St George St.

One of the best universities in Canada, has one of the most beautiful libraries in Toronto. There are many sections to study in the UofT library, however the Thomas Fisher area by far is the most extraordinary due to its' imaginative and vintage design. The high rise ceilings along with the books positioned on the walls of the room create a magical feeling.

6. Le Neuf // 9 Clarence Square

A touch of Paris is felt in the heart of Toronto as you step your foot in the door of Le Neuf Cafe. Have one of their croissants along with a cappuccino and you will for sure be inspired to study for that final exam. Please do keep in mind their hours are operation are minimal.

7. JCR @ University College // 15 King's College Cir

Snuggle up on a couch inside the Junior Common room at UC and turn into your study zone. It is not a silent room, therefore it is suitable for those who are able to work with a little bit of clamor. There are also long tables situated in the middle of the room for you to type up some notes or write an essay. Don't forget to grab a coffee from Diablo's cafe

8. John W. Graham Library // 6 Hoskin Ave. 

There's no better feeling than sitting next to a fire place for a read. Cubicles are also available if you're one to get easily distracted, that onlook a garden located west of the building. Doing work at this library will guarantee super productive time.

9. Tequila Bookworm //512 Queen St.W

 You must have at least one study sesh at this awesome venue, after all they do have the coolest name ever and believe me, so is the venue.  Eye-catching chandeliers hang off the ceiling in a red painted graffiti  "upshtairs" room, that is worth studying in. Free WIFI, cable TV, an exterior speaker monitor and plenty seating space create a perfect setting for studying. Make sure to check out their super hip patio during the season! If you love having a cold beer, a glass of wine while studying, or drinks to celebrate your accomplishments this is the place to be!
