This Hidden Toronto Patio Will Transport You Straight To The Beaches Of Mexico
Amazing food, cocktails and views!
Authentic Mexican food is one of those types of cuisines that literally everyone loves. I mean, what could be wrong with delicious, fresh flavours all wrapped up in various tortillas? Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, quesadillas, and nachos are just some of everyone's favourite Mexican foods!
Plus, Mexico is one of the top destinations for Canadian's to visit during their holidays because we just can't get enough of the culture, beaches, and friendly locals down South!
But what if I told you that there's a hidden patio in Toronto that will literally make you feel like you transported straight to the beaches of Mexico without even taking a flight. That's what El Cabillito has to offer!
El Caballito is located at 220 King St W in the heart of Toronto's downtown area and is the perfect place to chill this spring/summer. The vibes here are always upbeat and fun, the food is insanely authentic and delicious plus the patio is adorable, lit up with twinkly lights in the evenings!
Though the weather has been super nice out lately, they haven't quite committed to opening up their patio yet and don't have an exact date of when that might be. But if the weather keeps going the way it is for a week or two more, we're sure they'll be lighting up those twinkle lights very soon!
While this spot does focus a lot on keeping their food authentic, they also make some seriously creative dishes as well. Some of their specialties include their churro ice cream sandwiches, Mexican hot chocolate spiked with tequila and churro pancakes for brunch!
They serve brunch and dinner including a huge list of tequilas they have in house plus a taco special on Tuesday's where each taco is only $3.50! They make seriously killer cocktails which are perfect for a sunny happy hour or to go with your delicious dinner.
