This Spot In Toronto Makes Chicken Wings So Hot That You Need To Sign A Waiver Before Indulging
Get the milk ready!
If you love all things spicy, then you're in for a treat. I personally can hardly handle too much pepper on something, let alone a food challenge that is dedicated to some of the spiciest chicken wings in all of Canada. But some people will douse anything and everything they can in hot sauce, and those are the people I'm talking to right now.
If you're not familiar with what the Scoville scale is, then let me break it down for you. The Scoville scale is a measurement of how potent or pungent a spice is. Bell peppers are rated a 0-400 on the Scoville scale, which means no spice at all. And ghost peppers are rated a 1,500,000 on the Scoville scale. So you can just imagine how spicy that is. Well, these wings I'm about to tell you about are rated millions on the Scoville scale. So get ready.
AllStar Wings and Ribs is a restaurant in Toronto, and they have several different locations across the city. They have tons of chicken wings to choose from, from 'dry style' which can range in spiciness, to 'smoooking' to the hottest around, which is called Armageddon and nicknamed The End Of The World. Probably because your mouth feels like it's actually on fire.
While on their menu they don't explain what is used to make their wings so hot, they do say it's E.L.E which means 'extinction level event'. Aka, death. And the scariest part? You must sign a waiver before consuming a pound of these wings, because AllStar Wings and Ribs cannot be responsible if anything happens to you.
If you can't, or just refuse, to participate in this crazy challenge, they have a ton of more choices you can choose from. From endless options of wings, to gourmet grilled cheese, to Nathan's Famous hot dogs, you'll be good to go. So you can go for the hottest wings in Canada or to watch your friends take it on.
AllStar Wings and Ribs has 7 locations across the GTA, but call before to make sure they are participating in the Armageddon challenge before you stop in. For more information on the wings, menu, and locations, visit their website here. And maybe brings some Tums if you've dedicated to take on this challenge!
