The Toroonto Fried Chicken Festival will host "20 of the most skilled bird bosses under one roof" to serve up some decadent eats for your tasting pleasure on Sept. 28 and 29, 2019.
The festival will be both an indoor and outdoor extravaganza which will take place in the newly renovated Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga. The address is 1352 Lakeshore East, just outside of Toronto.
There will be free general admission as well as free parking available. Limited weekend fast passes will also be available for $10 bucks, online-only, with which you can by-pass the lines.
Sales for the weekend fast passes will start on Monday, Sept. 9. Not only does this guarantee you line bypass for entry to the festival, but it also lets you skip the line at all food and drink stations throughout the entire weekend.
There will be over 40 menu items to choose from. There will also be some great side order options to go with your chicken. You can get cheese fries, mac and cheese raclette, rainbow ice cream funnel cakes, roasted corn on the cob, freshly made fruit drinks, hot waffles, churros, blooming onions and much more.
Here are a few sneak peek photos.
Try out some twice buttermilk soaked hot sauce Cajun strips, Taiwanese fried chicken stuffed bubble waffle, authentic Nashville hot chicken, Louisiana fried chicken smothered in cheese sauce wrapped in freshly-made waffle cones and much, much more.
They will have Ontario craft breweries as well as DJs and live music. For sure to be a great time. You can also participate in an eating competition, line dancing classes, or play some retro games while you are there. There will also be a marketplace.
