This iconic soft-serve spot is back in business, and you can indulge in some unique fish-shaped cones. Toronto's Taiyaki NYC ice cream will have you hooked from the first lick. Swim your way over to this dreamy spot for the ultimate ice cream treats. Taiyaki NYC is known for its doughy fish-shaped cones and decorative soft-serve. After closing its Toronto location back in March, the shop announced in an Instagram post that it has reopened as of May 22. You can indulge in these unique frozen treats once more, but things are going to look a little different. The venue has put strict hygienic measures in place to ensure everyone's safety. The shop now only offers take-out orders, and customers must leave the premises after receiving their treat. There is a maximum occupancy for locations allowing guests to enter. Customers are also required to wear a face-covering if entering the store, and only debit or credit will be accepted as a payment method.
