A restaurant unlike anything Canada's ever seen before is about to open in Vancouver. A $12 million investment is about to bring this one-of-a-kind immersive dining experience to the city's upscale West Side, at Cambie St. and West 12th Avenue. The Vancouver 5D restaurant is called QuanJuDe, and Retail Insider reports that it's set to open on November 25, 2019.

QuanJuDe is globally renowned and has won several awards for its fully immersive fine dining experience. Visual projections, surround sound and advanced technology will transform the view from your table into a scene from downtown Shanghai, or the coral reef, Retail Insider reports. It's like a choose-your-own-adventure story, but in real life and with incredible food.

Folio.YVR Luxury Lifestyle Magazine reports that QuanJuDe is the chosen destination for important banquets in China, and it's a favourite spot among dignitaries and government officials.

QuanJuDe has put over 150 years of experience, plus $12 million, into incorporating all five senses into your chosen dining experience, so that it truly feels like an escape from reality.

Folio.YVR also reports that each course at QuanJuDe will be complemented by another visual experience right on your plate. The visuals will be animated and will dance across your dish to create a timeline for the meal.

Vancouver is definitely a hotspot for new and buzzworthy dining. Dante NYC, also known as the "World's Best Bar", is also opening in the city next month. The NYC-based spot is opening as a five-day popup, so it's sure to draw crowds. Especially for its drink menu, which includes the world's fastest-growing cocktail and a literal Negroni fountain.
