Bird Box is Netflix's new post-apocalyptic filmand it's truly a must-see. But, that also depends if you can actually make it through the film. On December 21st, Netflix released the highly anticipated original film Bird Box, which was actually a book before. The movie, which plays on your worst fears, is said to be one of the best of 2018. Starring Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson, this movie will probably give you some type of nightmare.

Bird Box is one of those films that you need to watch until the end to find out what happens. But some people actually couldn't because they found the film so scary, or they had to take a brief pause to gather their emotions. I mean, if a movie can do that to you, then it's definitely one you don't want to miss.

If you haven't seen the trailer or know what Bird Box is even about, let me try and explain it to you. Bird Box is about a mysterious force and power that kills you as soon as you see it. Most of society was driven to suicide because of the anxiety of this mysterious force, but a few survivors made it through, including Sandra Bullock's character. A lot of the movie is her trying to get her and her kids to safety without making eye contact with the force. I mean, I have anxiety just reading that.

Sandra Bullock and her kids are blindfolded for literally half the movie, which just makes the suspense even that much worse. If you can't make it through the movie without sweaty palms and a racing heart, don't worry. You're not alone. Fans on Twitter raved about the movie, but a ton of fans also said they either had to take breaks or couldn't finish the movie.

But despite all of the tweets about being nervous and having anxiety, the reviews are in: Bird Box is kind of like A Quiet Place, but it's way more intense. People on Twitter seem to have absolutely loved it, calling Sarah Paulson and Sandra Bullock the best duo.
