Disney Plus Announced All Of The Shows You Can Watch Next Month In Canada

Just in time for the cozy season to properly kick in, Disney has finally announced the full and complete catalogue for its brand-new streaming service, Disney Plus, and it looks pretty incredible. From cartoon classics such as Snow White and Dumbo to Disney Channel legends like High School Musical and Hannah Montana, Disney Plus Canada shows include something to suit everyone, and the line-up is massive.
In potentially one of the longest Twitter threads of all time on Monday, October 14, the Disney+ Twitter account shared a long video list of almost every movie and TV show that will be coming to the streaming service on November 12.
Since revealing their Variety.Disney has been slowly sharing the hundreds of titles that will soon become available on the platform. Alongside top titles from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and NatGeo, the streaming service has also announced that the site will feature many exciting Disney Plus originals, according to
While the D23 Expo 2019 earlier this year broughtabout Disney Plus’ movies and TV shows, their most recent post has added to their already-extensive catalogue.
The streaming service will have the majority of Disney’s animation classics from over the years, including nostalgic favourites like Pinnochio, Sleeping Beauty and Robin Hood, as well as those lesser-known, straight-to-video sequels, like Timon & Pumbaa and Aladdin and the King of Thieves.
There are also several weird and wonderful movies, that you may have forgotten, or never even heard of in the first place. Things like Meet the Deedles, TOperation Dumbo Drop and That Darn Cat.
Fans of Disney Channel's original features also won't be disappointed by this latest announcement, as the streaming service will include 2000's favourites such as That's So Raven, Lizzie McGuire, High School Musical, Hannah Montana, and The Cheetah Girls.
Disney+ won’t just be a place for nostalgia, it will also be a place to enjoy the company’s brand new content. Several highly anticipated titles are already in the works for the new service, including Marvel spin-offs Loki, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and WandaVision, as well as a Star Wars series entitled The Mandalorian.
According to CBC News, the service is expected to be available on all major mobile and connected TV devices, as the company has already locked down distribution deals with Apple, Microsoft, Google, Roku, and Sony.
The service will arrive in North America on November 12 and will cost $8.99 a month, or $89.99 per year and when you sign up, you can a Disney+ Canada trial free for the first 7 days!
Disney Plus is also available for pre-order ahead of its November launch, according to CNET. Though there has been some confusion surrounding when Disney Plus will be arriving in Canada and if it will be the same as the American version, an article by CNET explains that the November 12 launch date includes "US, Canada and the Netherlands."
