As we head deeper into the winter season, the snow is going to keep piling up and make staying inside much more appealing. Luckily we have tons to do indoors with so many streaming platforms to choose from, including the brand new Disney+. They're known for all of the really popular content we grew up watching but there's also tons of Disney+ movies that are underrated and so entertaining.

The Emperor's New Groove

Quite a few famous folks lent their voice to this 2000 film that was so funny it got itself a sequel five years later. David Spade and Patrick Warburton voice the dynamic duo Kuzco and Kronk who must turn back Kuzco after he becomes a llama by his boss, Yzma. You can also catch Kronk's New Groove on Disney+ too.

Lion King 1 1/2

The first movie in The Lion King franchise is undeniably one of the best, with two sequels and as well as a live-action remake that came out this year. But the 2004 film Lion King 1 1/2, also called The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata focuses on the story of Timon and Pumbaa before meeting Simba. It's basically the backstory of the original film but with an absolutely hilarious twist.

The Chronicles of Narnia

Two films in The Chronicles of Narnia franchise are currently on Disney+ including The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian. The film series is based on the novels of the same name by C. S. Lewis, so if you love reading books and then watching the film adaptations, these are worth adding to your list. You'll also get a peek at young James McAvoy in the first movie from 2005.

The Haunted Mansion

Although Halloween is long gone, this 2003 film starring Eddie Murphy is still an underrated and hilarious classic to enjoy. When Murphy's character enters an abandoned mansion to put it up for sale with his wife and two kids, they realize it's totally haunted and the spirits don't make their escape very easy.

The Descendants franchise has done so well, there are now three films in the series, but unfortunately, only the first one from 2015 is on Disney+. Famous faces from the Disney channel including Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson, and Cameron Boyce star in the movie that comes from High School Musical director, Kenny Ortega.

Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior

Although most of us know Brenda Song as the airhead duchess from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, she also stars in this 2006 film as a warrior that was sent to protect the world. If you missed this movie when it played often on the Disney channel years ago, it's worth checking out now on Disney+.
