If you're a true crime enthusiast, you might want to fit in some Netflix time in your weekend plans because a new documentary just dropped. The streaming platform has added tons of new documentaries in the same genre to satisfy your curiosity and love for suspenseful content. Netflix Canada's Narcoworld: Dope Stories is an intriguing true-crime docuseries that you should put on your must-watch list.

The first season features four episodes at about 40 minutes long so it won't take you too long to get through.

The story follows drug-making and selling all over the world, but also shows the behind the scenes of police officers as they tackle the illegal billion-dollar industry.

According to Decider, the series "takes on a certain fly on the wall aesthetic", as every episode features drug dealers in the first half and the law enforcement's side in the second part.

If you're a Breaking Bad fan, it's worth checking out for an inside look at what Walter White and Jesse Pinkman were really up against.

It also comes in good timing after the release of the sequel, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which is one of Netflix's highest-rated original films.

The first episode features the meth-making industry around the Mexico and United States border.

The second one moves to Spain and France, and the third episode is in Rio de Janeiro.

Narcoworld finishes off in the United Kingdom where they explore illegal drug use including MDMA at music festivals and raves.

The docuseries features a lot of subtitles, face masks, and altered voices to protect the privacy of the individuals who share information.

Narcoworld received a 7.4/10 rating on IMDb. The stories in the docuseries are pretty shocking and be warned that there is gun use featured as well.
