'Scandal' Has Officially Wrapped Filming And The Cast Says Their Goodbyes On Social Media
Nothing really compares to the feeling when your favourite show ends. You watch the finale, cry, move on, and then the next week you get exciting thinking it's back and then reality hits you. Even though all shows must come to an end at some point, that doesn't make it any easier. Some shows you feel like didn't get the love and seasons it deserved, and others go way beyond what you thought would happen. Scandal is right up there with Grey's Anatomy, we truly never want it to end. Unfortunately, unlike Grey's, Scandal has an expiry date.
The show, which has been on the air for seven seasons, is sadly coming to an end. While we're devastated about it, the cast can't seen to be any more grateful. Scandal really does seem like a family, which seems like a common theme with Shonda Rhimes' shows. From Grey's Anatomy to Scandal to How to Get Way with Murder, fans love any show she writes. So as we gear up for the series finale of Scandal on Thursday, April 19th, the cast is already saying their sad goodbyes on social media:
And that’s a series wrap on #Scandal. Could not be prouder. Here is a shot of the Truman Balcony created by our amazing production crew. You can totally see all of the love in the family that is Scandal. The political thriller/drama has been a hit show for all seven seasons, and there is no question that the finale episode will be a tear jerker. Grab your glasses of wine and tissues and get ready to say goodbye to our queen Olivia Pope.
